I am a Creole individual who grew up in a mixed-race household in the Bay Area. My identity affords me a distinctive vantage point that allows me to recognize the individualized ways in which others navigate their relationships to themselves, and to those around them.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology with a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies from Gonzaga University. My dedication to serving others led me to complete a Masters of Arts degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy from Lewis and Clark College, with a specialization in Sex Therapy. I also possess advanced training in the treatment of gambling addiction. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Intern in the State of Oregon, my clinical work is supervised by Lindsay McGrath, LMFT.
Childhood and adolescence are often times for radical exploration and growth. As technology progresses and social narratives around race, gender, and sexuality become more nuanced, it is common for children, adolescents, and parent caregivers to seek out additional support. My belief is that all people deserve a space where they can explore how they relate to themselves, as well as to those closest to them. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and hold an anti-racist, anti-oppression lens in my work. All relationship and family structures are welcome in my practice.
The following are common issues I support children, adolescents, and parent caregivers through:
• Biracial & multiracial identity development
• Parenting biracial & multiracial children
• Difficulty communicating within the family
• LGBTQ & gender identity development
• Navigating social media challenges
• Relationship challenges
• Gambling addiction
• Chronic illness
• Sexual trauma
• Grief and loss
My work is informed by the following modalities and concepts:
• Family Systems
• Solution Focused Therapy
• T.E.A.M. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
• Contextual Therapy
• Motivational Interviewing
When I’m not in the office, I’m busy crocheting, cooking Creole dishes, building my Stephen King novel collection, and playing board games with my partner.
